Default Subwoofer upgrade?

Hi guys,

At current I have a tannoy HTS subwoofer that I had from my tannoy package.
Iíve since moved on with different speakers and am now looking to upgrade my sub.

My budget is about £300.

What are peopleís suggestions?

I liked the tannoy but it lacks some real thump...

There are good things being said about the Yamaha NS-SW300, which is going at Amazon for £300. http://i.nextmedia.com.au/Assets/yam...test_lores.pdf

"Well, why don't you p*** off and play there, then..."

Iíve had Yamaha before and not sure this would be for me.

I was looking at the BK Gemini 2 or the REL quake...

If you are planning on more movie watching, I would go with the BK. If you would be using your system more for music, I would go with the REL as they tend to a more musical sub from what I have experienced.
