United Kingdom Mountain Of The Cannibal God

Lol, this item was supposedly released by Shameless in September 2017, but only now passed with cuts totaling 2 min by the BBFC (http://www.bbfc.co.uk/releases/mount...ibal-god-video). Apparently 6 animal cruelty scenes had to be cut, a lot more than for Cannibal Holocaust!

Yeah, it always has been one of the worst offenders in the Cannibal genre.

This would never get released uncut in the UK. It is getting a US release from Code Red at some point but I imagine it'll be a case of jumping through hoops to acquire a copy like always. I still have my EC Entertainment DVD of the directors cut complete with the bizarre pig scene

Odd choice for a UK release. Would it be a first time on blu-ray release? Wonder if it'll actually happen?

I'd presume due to it's sheer idiocy the scene with the pig would be passed uncut these days, which gets me wondering how the BBFC would react to Wedding Trough if someone dared to submit it...

According to Melon Farmers the extended cut was passed with only the animal cruelty scenes cut so that'll be the long snake and monkey part and possibly the alligator and turtle during the opening credits. So it looks as if the weird stuff from the directors cut will be intact.
