It's just propaganda. If anything, it's just a sign of how desparate HD-DVD folks are becoming. It's kind of pathetic actually. Until I see a quote from a real source, I don't believe it for a second.
"We found that, at this point, Blu-ray is worth the shelf space, and HD DVD is not." - Matthew Smith, Blockbuster SVP Merchandising

I wouldn't believe anything from avsforum nowadays. They're so biased in their hatred for Blu-ray that they couldn't see the forest for the trees.

I'm going to save that post...to fertilize my front lawn next Spring.

The really funny part of that thread is that some people actually bought into it.

Well it would be ridiculous that Ridley Scott sign off the Blu-ray as the "the most impressive thing I've ever seen" (as hyperdine's siggie says) and then the disc be trash, wouldn't it?

I think its funny how worked up people are getting over some random guy with one post. Of course this holds no water at all, and this guy is just spreading FUD.

I think its even funnier that people didn't get the joke. "Mark Felt". Even Blu-ray people should have chuckled over the obvious.

You can Netflix it on DVD first. Then you won't be disappointed.

I thought the theatrical cut was too rushed and disjointed but liked it anyway. My boyfriend told me that the director's cut was MUCH more better.

The Director's Cut was a big improvement over the theatrical cut. It still had some issues, but was much more involving. And the SD looked great, so the Blu-Ray disc should REALLY be impressive!

I can't wait for it to come out I enjoyed the DVD verison and I am looking foward to what the BD version brings to the table. I really don't care about the reviews. I liked 5th element and it got panned. So AVS can't post all the Fud they want to, it isn't going to change my mind. What does AVS stand for All Very Specail. I love tard jokes.
