Oh I'd love to see this film on Blu Ray. But I doubt it will ever come, I mean it really wasn't a hit but I liked it for some reason. I think it's like only 5 dollars at best buy for the DVD, lol. But I would pay thirty for the Blu Ray version, lol.

The Saint was released by Paramount. It made around $61 million in North America and about $57 million in other countries.

Maybe not all that long. I don't think that Paramount is going to take all that long to come back. This would be one of my top wants in the way of Val Kilmer flicks. Thunderheart, Real Genius, and Tombstone would be the other tops.

The Saint is an awesome movie. It was released pretty early on in DVD's lifetime, so I dont think we have long to wait for it to come out on BD, when Paramount switches. Its not one of the titles that they need to hold back on for more players.

"I'd like to take you to my home, in Africa. The place where all life began." My friends and I use to laugh our asses off during the part where he's Thomas Moore. Good times. Good movie.

The Saint is a movie that I have always wanted to see but never gone through the trouble of buying or renting it. Perhaps if it comes out on blu ill take the plunge and buy it.

I was just watching Val Kilmer playing Doc Holiday in Tombstone earlier, and I was thinking what a terrific actor he is. You don't see him in many movies these days which is too bad. Off the top of my head I can think of several GREAT movies and roles he's played.... Tombstone, Heat, The Saint... could go on.

Willow made around $57 million in 1988 in North America (U.S. & Canada only). This isn't bad in 1988 dollars.

If they meant The Saint, I explained in my earlier comment that even that movie was also reasonably successful. Check the following:

The Saint was a great movie!!

Only thing missing was a shot of Elizabeth's headlights!!

I'd say only medium priority though when getting it to blu?

I also felt The Saint was a great movie. I'd love to be able to get it on Blu Ray disc. The film also has another cut that was previewed, but not mass released. I would like to see this version of the film as well.
The Saint will return!

+1. Looks like there are some fans for these type of movies too. The good thing about Saint is the techno filled soundtrack and Val Kilmer of course.
