i know i am a little behind on my movie watching but i just rented shooter for the first time (dvd) and my god, this is one sweet flick. had to post just how much i enjoyed this movie and i cant believe no one forced me to watch it sooner. come on hddvd hurry up and concede, cause this will be part of my collection at some point

Shooter (Paramount) was directed by Antoine Fuqua. You may like his other movies:

King Arthur (Buena Vista, Disney)
Tears of the Sun (Sony)
Training Day (Warner)

You can still find copies if you look hard enough. I just picked up two for a couple of guys here that was asking for them.

EDIT: Don't forget Replacement Killers. His very first movie and one of my favorites.

Where did you find shooter? I am trying to find a copy. Amazon.com has one for $50 - $60, but I am not paying that amount for a movie. Great movie too.

You can buy a new DUD player for the Amazon price of shooter and they will throw in the entire DUD catologue for free right now.

Someone was showing people where to buy Coming to America and Trading Places. At the same site, they have Shooter:

Like it a lot too, got it right after that infamous announcement Paramount made, actually the PQ isn't too bad either, some of Paramount's weren't all that great!
