I am Legend pre-order? - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone know when this will be available to pre-order? Some movies scheduled for April release are already up...but not this one. Not even a place holder on amazon. I only found one site so far pre-ordering, but for $32.95 and I won't pay that price. Figured that 03/18 wasn't set in stone yet. Just wondering, eager to pick it up.

I don't think it has been OFFICIALLY announced yet. When it pops up on the news page you will probably be able to preorder it then.

I was also wondering about that. They already have Twister (May 6) on pre-order, but not I Am Legend (March 18). Strange.

They have Twister available for pre-order for months - Amazon was late also for Michael Clayton and In the Valley of Elah.

It's still over a month away and why not mail them and ask?

I have emailed them about some titles, and I think they list them when they get confirmation for a shipping date from the manufacturer. They have walk hard listed as releasing on march 25, but no option for preorder.

I say it does matter. I Am Legend is a high profile release. Amazon should be taking preorders by now -- especially since another retailer already is (FYE - not sure of any others).

In the end, all of us who want it will get it come March 18th.

wb has rules about preorders and amzn always follows them others don't. see 300.
