I went to see this with my daughter about a month ago. I won't give it a resounding two thumbs up, but it wasn't as asinine as I thought it was going to be.

don't expect too much from storyline..... but their cuteness..... I just loved to see them in high details in BD

i'll get it for myself (and I am well over 20)..... my movies collection are mostly children movies or movies with family theme.

that is why I am supporting BD because of walt disney

Since it is 20th Century Fox, we will have it here in the states as well..Usually us and the UK have the same release dates, which means we cant expect it April 14th as well

some of releases has UK dates before US, but some of them has US before UK....

I'll probably buy Alvin & The Chipmunks for my daughter when it hits the US. She liked it a lot.

I'm a huge Disney fan myself and I'll definitely be buying all the regular animation and Pixar's that Disney throws at us. One of my personal favorites (that has only a bit of animation) is Bedknobs & Broomsticks. I can still remember seeing that for the first time when I was 6 years old. That was damn near 30 years ago.

gosh..... i loved angela lansbury.... and the song "the age of not believing". still in my twenties, but have enjoyed nearly all disney movies back from Mickey Mouse 1928

Since Alvin and the Chipmunks are still doing pretty well in the theaters, last week it was number 11 and has mad over $200million, I would guess April for a release date. I was surprised at how well it did and was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I will pick it up when it comes out.

I was just told that Alvin and the Chipmunks is projected to be released on April 1st here in the US. Right now we are doing the buy for March and April 1st titles fall in the last week in our March finanical period......it's insane the amount of product being released in March.

My info is subject to change but I'm positive it will be released in April.

took my two rugrats to see this when it came out and really enjoyed the movie. The music was great. I loved their cover of "had a bad day"

Ok just looked on my distributors website, Alvin & Chipmunks is listed as April 1st, 2008. It's prebooking right now so I'm 99% certain it's coming April 1st.

Also it only lists the DVD version and there is no Blu-ray version listed (yet) which is intresting.
