Default The Chipmunks get "digital copy" on DVD, Blu-ray releases

Alvin gets digital copy on DVD, Blu-ray

Looks like Alvin and the Chipmunks will be first Blu-ray to have a digital copy.

Awesome! But how does one get these extra video files off the Blu-ray without a BD computer drive? I wonder if it will be possible with the PS3.

I'm getting this. Is there is limitation of digital copy? (i.e. it can only be copied several times, etc)?

I am definitely going to use that feature to transfer movie to my PSP and iPOD. I'm quite a lazy person to turn on my PS3 or my 20 inch laptop to watch BD

It must have made it's money overseas (France probably) because it didn't last a week around here.

No it lasted many many many weeks around there, much to the surprise of just about everyone. It's 200m+ gross is purely domestic, they add another 100m+ with foreign grosses.

Based on the trailer, it looked horrible, but it did manage a solid B grading and definitely pulled in the cash and profit.
