Can someone please help me with looking at my ps3 data that i put on my external? I had someone help me awhile back to set up my external but i don't recall what they did to view all the times i backed up the game saves through the comp. I just want to remove one save that didn't make it to my current ps3. I did connect my external to the laptop but i can't figure out how to view all my saves. I think they had to download something in order to format it to fat32. Thanks to whoever is able to help me.

One other issue that i have. I forgot to back up my free dl of Mortal Kombat hd movie that i got from my mk game. I forgot to sign in before i did my restore so it's not in my download list. Can Sony help me with this or am i out of luck?

Hi, I been trying to look everywhere for this answer
but I hope this is the place to ask.

Recently, I am trying to replace my laser and deck
(KES-410A KES-410ACA KEM-410CCA) but one side of the original deck that is in the PS3 Blu Ray drive have a hard-wired cable ribbon and I wanted to asks how do you unattached the the ribbon from the drive so I can replace the deck?

Im not sure where to put this but I heard that if you purchase a video off of PSN, its a one time download and you cant delete and redownload it later. Is that true? i got Batman Year one download with AC GOTY and want to delete it to make space on my HDD but if I do, will I not be able to download and view it again?

I was playing some Uncharted 3 online today when it kicks me off saying I don't have an ethernet cable connected, even though I do. And as soon as I'm kicked off, what do you know, my PS3 is still online and signed in. So I try to play again and it does it again. This has happened to me before. Anyone know what causes it?

HELP! I was able to log into the PSN 2 days ago and today i try to login and it will not, it just stays on the "logging in" screen and never connects. so i test my connection and it says it cannot obtain my ip address but everyother wireless device in my house is still working. Any ideas? i know they had the planned maintenance yesterday, not sure if they tweaked something but either way i cant login now.

ive tried reseting my router and modem several times and that didnt work. i'm just pissed i was logging on to redeem a free month of PS+. please help

Crap! 2 years running strong and mine just got another YLOD. Sucks that my copy of Sleeping Dogs is in the system. I will try later to see if I can power it on long enough to get that out. Thank god for PS+ though bc at least my saves are backed up. Stinks that those rumored new PS3s werent released in August like originally expected and BF is 2 months away. Not sure if I can wait that long

I'm thinking of upgrading to a 1TB hard drive for my PS3 Slim. Has there been anyone in here who have installed a 1TB or higher in their PS3's and can attest to the performance, and whatnot?

Let me know what make/model # of hard drive you used as well. Will get one next month.

Groo, I recently installed the SAMSUNG Spinpoint M8 HN-M101MBB 1TB 5400 RPM 8MB Cache 2.5" HDD. I have had zero issues with it! Performance is identical to stock drive with more space! You can pick it up from Newegg for $90 or from Amazon for $92!

So I tried out the new PSN store tonight and was really annoyed with all the sounds they have added. How do I turn all sounds off for the PSN store?

I don't like them changing up the trophy placement and whatnot.

Not only did they move it from games to the PS column, but they also changed it so if you're in the middle of the game and you hit the PS button to quickly check your trophies, such as checking to see what trophy you just got, it now syncs it so you have to sit there and wait. And God help you if you back out of it before it's done, because then it'll just sit there frozen until it's finished syncing ANYWAY.

We take an L with this nonsense.

Triangle > Switch Modes > Offline mode

You can view them without syncing.

Awesome! I never knew that. Did they JUST add that or has it always been an option?

I much prefer to have that as the offline and sync it through my name on the friends column.
