Did some research when I bought the UK edition and apparently they are both 1 disc, they certainly have the same extras.

Default Monty Python: Life of Brian

Does this film look any good on BD? I'm a huge fan of Monty Python and when I saw this on BD I just wanted to buy it so bad, but I wanted to know if it was worth it, only $20...

Default Buy it

Clean, bright, when there IS color - it's vibrant.

I bought it, glad I did. Can't wait for Holy Grail.

I only have a tube TV and there's a definite difference. If you have a hi def set, color me jealous...

Yes. Looks really great for an almost 30 year movie that was financed by George Harrison (which in and of itself is one of the best behind the scene stories of the film). Very little grain, and has a very sharp image.

Loved it. A great Blu transfer. It's a BD-J disc, too.

This seems to be out of print and selling new on amazon for around $50 so I picked it up at Barnes & Noble for 12.99 in a heartbeat. I was wondering if there is word on a new blu-ray coming out or maybe criterion will upgrade their dvd version to blu-ray?

Who owns this now; Sony or Image (because the film was a Handmade Films production)?

Thanks! Don't know if it's really going OOP, but that's a pretty good price anyway. Was able to add it to an existing order.
