One you forgot that I can't wait for on Blu-ray:
Eagles Farewell 1: Live from Melbourne I know, I know... it's NOT a movie, but I'm the world's biggest Eagles fan and it was a tough pill to swallow watching this get released on dud and remaining true to blu (which I did)...

Universal has to work over time to release these movies on Blu-ray... and then keep on with day and date releases... is universal confirmed exclusive to Blu now?

I just want the Bourne trilogy, The Fast & The Furious & Riddick! As much as I love Lost in Translation, I don't think it would really gain much from being in High def - unless it is loaded with bonus features of course.

A decent list, for sure. Here are the ones I'm considering:
American Gangster (blind buy) Apollo 13 (only if the conversion is good. There is a lot of black in this movie, and I worry about the contrasting) Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum, The Casino Elizabeth Elizabeth: The Golden Age Mummy Returns, The Mummy, The (1999) Shaun of the Dead (never seen it. This would be a blind buy) Spy Game Traffic Van Helsing (the wife loves this movie, though I think only for Hugh Jackman...at least I get to look at Kate Beckinsale) What Dreams May Come (the movie was eh, but I remember thinking the colors were incredibly vibrant. I think this would look fantastic in Blu-ray!) While there are definitely other movies on the list I enjoy, I already own them on DVD, and don't think they're worth the upgrade. Just my personal opinion, of course. PSN = ferris23 Actively Playing: Destiny 2, Rocket League, Horizon Zero Dawn |

I may have watched two dozen Universal HD DVDs, and the two only real disappointments in the video department were Being John Malkovich and Spartacus, which was horrid. The worst release must have been Traffic - it was proved that the HD DVD had no more detail than the DVD! ![]() |

Thanks for making the list Grubert. There are about 17 of these titles I would get in an instant. I think we all agree that we hope they have a better transfer than the hd dvd counterpart. I'd hate to have to double dip on some of these.

Just gimme the Bourne series damnit. Those were probably their most profitable movies, I hope they decide to release them first because of that.
