There's already a thread on this. The announcement is from Paramount, and at this point I don't think it tis clear what will happen to the titles to be released in HD DVD by Dreamworks Animation.

UPDATE 6:45pm: We've received word from Paramount that DreamWorks Animation will also follow its studio parent and end HD DVD support. DreamWorks Animation sole remaining HD DVD release, 'Bee Movie' (originally scheduled for March 11) has been cancelled. We've updated our database accordingly.

Paramount and Dreamworks are finished with HD DVD. Now we just need the Blu-ray announcements.

They are supposed to make an announcement on March 4. Industry sources are reporting blu-ray titles in the Summer, and I believe that our insiders have posted that it will be sooner than that. Great news, but the faster we get the titles, the happier I will be.

I think the summer is mentioned in a very liberal way so as to not steal Paramounts thunder.

Does anyone else find it funny that the first Studio to pull support from HD DVD is also probably going to be the last one to release on the format? Well that is if Warner goes through with releasing into June.
