Thunder...thunder...thundercats, Ho!

Anyone around these parts remember the Thundercats? It'd be neat to rewatch these, as I haven't seen them in quite some time. Who could forget the witty and dashing Snarf! Has anyone revisited these lately, or own these on DVD?

I was looking for this series on DVD at one point. Found it too epensive or VCDs at the time.

i always wanted to get the DVD's but i couldnt bring myself to spend that much on it....It was rumored a while back that there was going to be a live action movie for Thundercats, i cant imagine it turning out well.

It's not live action, it's all CG like the recent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.

I used to watch that show all the time when I was in fourth or fifth grade. I'd get home from school about 2:45, just long enough to make myself a snack. Thundercats at 3, Transformers at 3:30, Ninja Turtles at 4, GI Joe at 4:30.

That was awesome.

I loved it as a kid as well. Had all the toys in fact. But the seasons are ridiculously expensive. And they split the seasons into volumes, which I absolutely hate.

That does sound awesome. I loved all those shows, but I was too young to have scheduled when to watch them. I just remembering loving Thundercats and Ninja Turtles... Beebop and Rocksteady (hilarious)... and whenever I could watch GI Joes, I would. I never knew when it was on... I had so many GI Joes... fun times, fun times.

Everytime i got to Best buy I look and see if they have the Thundercats on DVD and I put them in my cart but I never walk out with them. For some reason I cant talk myself into spending 200 dollars on them. I have been watcing the episodes at nostalgiamania so that has been getting me by.




On the other hand if they came to Bluray(not likely) I would pick them up

If I had a co-worker that would to burn these to cd's what program could he use? Theoretical question of course. We have a 8-Disc tower burner but couldn't get it to work properly. Works fine with files but when videos are involved it goes to crap. We can some DVD with injection techniques (Medical education field) but can't get them off and I don't want to pay the video guy for another set of DVD's.

We use to use CloneCD and it copy anything over.

Edit: Never mind think I found something by that same company.

Those were the good old day when you had cartoons to watch at in the afternoon when you got home from school....instead of Oprah and Dr.Phil.

I can't remember but at one point I was swtiching back and forth between He-Man and GI-Joe because they were on at the same time.

I would much love to have thundercats on blu -ray! WHY? PQ, and subtitle that SDVD doesnt have it included. I must see this on blu with subtitle!!

Ah, the memories! Seems that I'm not alone, good to see. That would be really awesome if we ever saw these again in Blu-ray. I hadn't seen the talks about the movie, thanks for posting that link.

Here's to wishful thinking gents! Looking forward to the day that we can experience these adolescent memories once more, but this time around in high-definition flavor.
