Initial D movie review

Just finished watching the movie and it is by far way better then any fast and the furious movie. PQ was ok probably a 3.5-4 out of 5. Didn't really wow me, but was still enjoyable. The sound quality however is great. It comes with a 5.1pcm track and it makes real good use of the surrounds. You know how black hawk down had bullets coming from everywhere, think that but with tires screeching and motors reving. At one scene when you lose sight of the car you can hear it going around the room and then as you gain sight again the front channels take over. That to me was just awesome. Overall movie: It doesn't really truely follow the anime, but what movie does. Overall the movie was very enjoyable and worth at least a rent or at 20bucks a buy that was worth it to me.

I have the SD version, and so far I can't justify buying the blu-ray version yet. Maybe I will sometime soon. lol.

im going to buy this soon on amazon.com but they say it wont be available to march 20th because they are out of stock at the time being or for whatever reason they dont have a copy available so i guess i have to wait till then but really looking forward to it

I'am going to buy it soon... well as soon as i can get my projector.. LOL I got most of the China Release now.. love those flick..
