Would like to believe it, but it still has Bee Movie HD DVD version...so, hope Paramount will make it official.

Not sure what this listing proves.

Things I do know: Bill said there'd be Paramount titles, and that we'll get street dates sometime soon, and I believe him.

Funny, I remember when Warner said they would bring their missing titles to Blu-ray. I said those same words back then "I believe them". Some thought I was crazy, but a year later: they're still saying they will, and well, they showed which format has their support, didn't they?

Wont Paramount have to announce like, this week if this is true? Since its 3 weeks from release and most stores get their shipments 2-3 weeks ahead?

Somebody knows something whether it is Penton, Paid, Max , perhaps Bill but they are so locked down in NDA land that Penton will not even give hidden hints.
Something has to be announced soon though either way.
To miss out on Sweeney Todd and Cloverfield like they did with There Will Be Blood would be complete suicide on Paramount's part.

Well even though I HATED Cloverfield, it would get alot of money along with the other 2. It wouldnt make sense for them to stay quiet much longer

Exactly.
Day and date is where they will make their most money, it is where they will recoup their investment.
Releasing them a month or two down the line will cut sales in half and be a complete waste.

Ain't that the truth. When There Will be Blood is released on blu, half the excitement is already gone. I personally would have held back the sd-dvd to give it a good push with blu.

Does this also apply to the practice of studios only releasing their first block buster hit only until the sequel is ready fo BD? I don't agree with titles being withheld in the pretence that more money will be generated by selling two at the same time. That could be up to five to God nows how many years in some cases worth of sales on the original title. But instead it is only gathering dust and pissing off the consumers having to wait so long.

Yeah, if this is true, there would probably have to be announcement very soon (like this week).
