According to the latest Sony Computer Entertainment UK release schedule PlayStation 3 gamers will have plenty to keep them occupied this autumn, with three massive titles hitting stores.

Scheduled for release in September are LittleBigPlanet and Killzone 2, with Insomniac Games' launch title sequel, Resistance 2, pencilled in for a November release.

The titles are likely to go up against some heavy hitters from Microsoft, including Gears of War 2, Fable 2 and Banjo.

I bet $100 killzone gets delayed again. It was one of my top 3 games on Ps2. I'm more hyped over this than metal gear. PLEASE DON'T DELAY IT.

MotorStorm 2 and inFAMOUS are huge games due around the end of the year too, not to mention third party and smaller/downloadable stuff.

Apparently Guerilla Games has debunked this so called date, saying that it was nothing but mere rumor.

Killzone 2 needs to be one of those games that gets released when it's finished, not because of a deadline. This is a massive game for PS3 and absolutely has to be a showcase for the console.

To be fair that should be the case for all games, but we all know that some developers have various targets that have to be met and if that means a game is released incomplete then so be it.

I'd rather wait, like I am with Haze, so that the game is as good as it can be.

yes. 100% agree. That's why i have great respect for valve. They ****** up at first when they announced a date and than pushed it back but than learned from their mistake and said future games will be done when it's done.

For some reason, I have a feeling that LBP will be a downloadable from the PSN. I just do. To me it doesn't seem like a game that would be available from the stores compared to Resistance, Motorstorm, Killzone, etc.

I rather wait for the complete game then some last minute junk as well. However I wish these companies would add a couple buffer months. Or a worste case senario date that they give to the public.

For example. (I'm making this up) The Project Manager for Motorstorm 2 says internally "If everything goes to plan we will release Dec. 8th" Which is what they tell the media/press. Which is fine by me. But they should tell the public-- Release date Jan 8th-- while still keeping the internal target of Dec 8th.

If everything does indeed go as plan, it will come out a month or a couple weeks earlier and everyone is happy, no one is sad cause EVERYONE thought it wasn't coming till Jan 8th.

Think about how sad you would be if MGS4 was pushed back to June 31st. Now think how pumped you would be if it was release early on June 1st!

I just hope that they produce enough copies of some of these games. You don't need an MBA to forecast heavy sales for MSG4. Buy 30% more copies than you think you need. If you don't sell out day 1, you still have Inventory for the next week. Which means more traffic in your stores to buy other non needed crap!

It breaks my heart to see all the games i've been waiting for forever get pushed and pushed back.

Definitely a must by for me. My most anticipated game of the year besides MGS4 and GTA4.

If that happened the early release date would be the only thing people would see...

Someone will leak that and people will get upset that it was delayed.. see stuff happens sometimes somethings broke and its broken so badly that you have to rethink portions or maybe rework the entire engine... in these cases it could get messy.

Trust me the airlines I work should have started flying 2 years ago but here we are still in certification.

Can't wait for Killzone 2, It looks amazing. Will be picking up Gears 2 aswell. Its a pitty that won't be on the PS3. Gears of war was the game that made me buy a xbox 360.

LBP is already planned to be like Warhawk, where you can either download it or buy it.

At least, that was the last I had heard about it.
