Think some ppl might have been put off this blu-ray by the title but I got "The World's Fastest Indian" (Anthony Hopkins) on blu-ray today (only $19.95 at amazon) and what a great movie!

Its based on the true story of Burt Munro's trip from New Zealand to American to break the land speed record. It looks gorgeous on blu too

I bought it last year when it was on sale for US$10. It's a great movie with its own peculiar plot rhythm. Well cast and acted and a good sound design and VFX. Too bad it's only in DTS HR.

I wasn't sure what to expect when i watched this but soon i was very happy to have seen this .

Good movie.

Too bad they decided to open up the Super35 film to 1.78

HDNet ran it in its original 2.35 and the composition is superior. Plus you know for sure no FX shots were altered or cropped.

yeah i rented this a while back and loved the movie and the character, few parts even managed to give me that slight lump in my throat. i am definitly gonna have to add this to m collection at some point down the road.

Originally caught this on HDnet. Just an absolutely fantastic film. Criminally overlooked for Oscar nominations for Hopkins as well as Best Picture and Best Director.

Nice to see this film hasnt been overlooked by blu-ray community

It is a very charming movie.

There is a nice documentary about Munro on the disc too that is worth checking out.

I first seen this movie on dvd last year, I made a point of buying this on Blu Ray. I had to import this, as it isn't on sale in the UK. I found this movie to be charming and Anthony Hopkins is great. The Blu ray edition is fantastic.

This was one of my very first Blu-ray rentals. What a great movie! Definitely one of Hopkins best!! Not sure how much of a re-watch value this has to me, but I would pick it up when there is a BOGO or special sale on this one!

I cant speak about PQ and AQ, but the movie was very enjoyable. Excellent underdog story.
