The last Blu-ray promotion

Has anyone besides me failed to get their 5 disks from the previous promotional? I bought a Sony PS 3 in January, filled out the coupon from Blu-Ray, and mailed everything in, including receipts, bar code, etc., and I sent it in well before the expiration date. I have heard nothing and I have received nothing. The Blu-ray site has no menu for communication about this. Does anyone know how I can inquire?

Don't know when exactly 'well before the promotion ended' is, but pretty sure it would take at least 6-8 weeks. And some members here have had it take up to like 40 weeks to get their Blus.

I'm in the same boat though - mailed mine the end of Feb and have heard nothing yet.

I just received my "5-free discs" on Monday from sending rebate in January. And, just to point out, I did receive two of the alternate discs that I picked... not my first choices. So, hopefully you'll be getting yours soon.

+1 to that. I've called the number in the fine print on the form a couple of times and they confirmed that my submission "qualifies", but it is still in the processing stage at the moment. I'm trying not to think about them, simply so I get a nice suprise in the mail box when they finally arrive!

I don't remember what the date was that the promo ended, but I remember that I put off sending in my request until 10 days before it ended. There wasn't really anything on the title list that I wanted other than titles I already had. I got my 5 freebies last week so anyone that's still wating should be getting their shipment soon

I'll be keeping The Omen and The Devils Rejects as I didn't already have those. My now extra copies of POTC, Swordfish, and The Patriot will be hitting eBay by this weekend.

Deadline for purchasing a qualifying Blu-ray player for the most recent 5 free movies promotion was January 31, 2008. Submission forms and other stuff (UPC code, copy of store receipt) had to be mailed by February 29, 2008.

I sent my request off (via certified mail) in the middle of February. Haven't received my 5 BDs yet.

Thanks for the response cktb2793, I just called them and was told I'm in the "Final Stages" of preperation before shipment.

I guess that means my discs are ready to go, but the guy who licks the envelopes is off today.

I called on the status of mine yesterday and they said they shipped on APR 9. They also told me it takes 3-4 weeks to get them because they ship via media mail or something like that. I'll let you know when I get them.

this is not enough info, do i have to have something before i call that nbr?

i know i might need my ps3 purchase reciept and anything else? I asked becasue info is in box somewhere i need find before i call. dont want to call again.

All they ask you for is your name, and then you'll confirm the mailing address. Oh and they ask you right off the bat if this inquiry is for the summer promo or the holiday promo.

All you need when you call is your name and zip code - at least that is all I was asked for. With that detail they can tell you what step in the process your submission is at.

A friend of mine bought his just before the deadline (I'm not sure when he actually mailed in the form though) and got his in 5 weeks. Sooner than he expected. I'd call to check up on things if I were you, just for peace of mind.

I sent mine off the last day (2/29) and received them last Saturday. Looks like they upgraded me to the newer extended/director's cut of The Patriot. The Kevin Bacon thing is going straight to ebay.

I'd forgotten I picked The Last Waltz. I think I'll fire that up this evening.

My Stand alone was purchased in June 2007 and I got every movie that I picked off but my PS3 was purchased in Dec which was closer to the end, so what I got was pretty much pot luck.

I am now the proud owner of Chain Reaction.
