ManWithNoLife apparently can't find something else to criticize so he has to continue to be an annoying nuisance months after the release. Just as bad as the people who still spew fire at the thought of Jar Jar. Sunshine helps with sanity.

Did you watch the movies with eyes and ears closed?? or were you writing down all the plot holes and missed a couple of scenes??

The purpose of that scene was to instigate the prisoners by making them think that they are being held as prisoners by a act created on the name of a man who was himself corrupt. FYI - Dent act denies parol.

Besides the "flow" of the movie, that was one of the reasons why I didn't score this movie has high as I wanted to. After they released newer trailers for the film... (@ 0.34)

I could, with no doubt or problem, hear the changes they made to his voice. Actually, in all honesty, NOT hearing him so well is what would have made this feel even more like a solid 'Nolan' film, the more grounded the better ...

Bane voice (@ 1.32) sounds grounded, better in the second trailer, than in the first. The second trailer gives me the feeling that he is actually speaking through the mask, not "outside" of it
TOP 5 (BD) 1. THE DARK KNIGHT 2. BATMAN BEGINS 3. IRON MAN 4. STAR TREK 5. AVATAR
TOP 5 (WISHLIST) 1. THE SAINT 2. MEMPHIS BELLE 3. TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE 4. MULTIPLICITY 5. REAL GENIUS

Not wanting to offend you or anything, but did you have the chance to see the Prologue prior to the MI4 showings? I haven't, so aside that one line in the second trailer, I never heard Bane's "original" voice, but most of the test-screenings requested some touch up to his voice, as it wasn't really audible.

To me, his voice was fine. As a matter of fact, I memorized more than half of his lines through my first sitting of the movie ("Crassshiing thiz plaaane")

I did post the 'Prologue' some time ago, but since then it's been removed. I found this video / audio footage. The video is terrible but the audio is much better.

Yeah, just a break down at some of the evidence that one won't happen. I do hope we get one, since it is clear they did have extra footage but chose not to have it in favour of the twist. But if anything, I just hope Nolan at least changes the order of some scenes towards the end of the film so that there isn't such a plot disturbance.

Not gonna happen. He won't change a thing. Unfortunately, editing wise this film is quite a mess imo.

Very interesting, thanks for (re)sharing. It's funny. The tone he has when he says "with no survivors!" is COMPLETELY different (pay attention to the way he says it). I wonder if they simply mixed the audio footage or had Hardy re-record his lines once again?

I actually think he (re)recorded quite a few of his lines. Whether there was other background noise that flustered his lines or not, I think after the reaction fans and some critics had with what they heard from the 'Prologue,' Nolan and company probably didn't have a choice, which I think he did but avoided. Here is a montage I found someone put together on YouTube, it's quite interesting, not only for "sound" purposes, but listen to how (Tom) Hardy delivers or articulates his lines from every scene shown here, they sound marginally different. It's a great comparison job that doesn't leave much to ignore.

Besides how clear, or not, (Tom) Hardy sounds in the second of each comparison, I truly think he executed his lines beautifully the "First Time" around and not the second

Why is this expected? He hasn't released any alternate versions of "Batman Begins" or "The Dark Knight", why would he start now?

Wow! I never knew how different the voice was originally! So glad they changed it because I couldn't make out a single word from the Prologue

I for one hated the change The original voice sounds so creepy and so uniquely delivered, and most importantly, sounds like it's coming from behind a mask! I hate the voice-over clarity of the "fixed" voice, it's completely detached from the images on screen. It's also painfully dull how Hardy over enunciates every word to make sure it's understandable.

It eliminated one of the greatest moments of the prologue, the hood being lifted off Bane. In the original, Bane finished his line "No one cared who I was until I put on the mask", then the hood reveals the mask accompanied by that fantastic music cue from Hans Zimmer. In the final version, they push Bane's line back so he talks over the whole moment. So disappointing.

I wish I had a blu-ray burner just so I could re-edit the original voice onto the blu-ray when I comes out, it infuriates me that they changed it. I know how fans of Star Wars feel now.

The new prologue voice reminds me of a few 70s Italian films dubbed to English. It doesn't match the facial expressions.

Because he pushed the running time to the limit of the IMAX projector, any longer and it wouldn't be in IMAX. Plus there is some moments of messy editing in the film, plus the few complaints from fans. The film just feels very rushed and way too compact, even though it's pushing up towards 3 hours long.

That's what I don't get , doesn't feel rushed to me at all . A lot does happen towards the end, but it seems that TDK's last 15 mins were also the case (when I watched it with a friend who was watching it for the first time, he was kinda lost, with the whole SWAT-Joker passage).

At times this movie moves at such a quick pace that I have the feeling something big is missing betweeen certain scenes. And other times it just drags and explains boring unnecessary stuff. Very uneven pacing imo. So I kinda want this movie to be shorter, yet at the same time longer lol.

Seems like that was kind of Nolan's intent. To relate to the audience how the characters felt. I'm sure Bruce Wayne felt some things happen way too fast and some dragged. I think it kind of captures the mood of the film, among other things. I find it both annoying and brilliant. Can't wait to watch it again.

This has probably been noticed before, but after Gordon and his comrades are sentenced to death - by exile - Bane instructs a henchman to "Bring her to me", and he goes to take Miranda from Gordon. However, when Bruce is brought in as a prisoner, Miranda is with Fox, and then is told Bane has her not long after. It's as if that scene should have come before Gordon's judgement, as it just doesn't gel, having Miranda be taken then put back then taken again. Also, the timing of the bomb is WAY off, in the space of 5 minutes or so the bomb goes from 11mins to 10, then in the final chase scene a minute passes and it goes from 10mins to 5mins. A simple vocal dubbing and digital/practical altering of the timer would've worked, as the scene plays close enough to the 10min timeframe but even with Nolan's time ommisions, the chase scene clearly doesn't last around eight minutes.
