Lethal Weapon (re-issues) ? - Blu-ray Forum

I just watched Lethal Weapon ( The Directors Cut) on DVD. The original along with 2 have to be two of my favorite action movie ever. Is there any news on Warner re-issuing Blu Rays of LW and LW2 with the Directors Cuts and remastering the video and providing a lossless audio option?

I havent heard anything, but you never know....My guess is you wont see anything for some time though.....

what they should do is release all 4 in a package like the die hard series and make sure there done right, only wishful thinking i guess.

It will happen sooner or later. They like all studios will double dip every chance they get.

I just watched the first one the other day too. I was surprised to find it had a 1.5 mbps DTS track . . . which is, and correct me if I'm wrong, better than the track found on the Blu-ray, yes? Due to the horrid reviews of these discs I've waited on the Blu's . . . hopefully they make them worthwhile.

Warner issued the LW movies very early in DVD life as well, right around launch time, then they reissued 1-3 in DIrector's Cut versions, but never redid LW4. I figure Warner will probably do a reissue with a half-assed box set and then do a big special edition box set a couple years later.

Most likely not. Probably just the current BDs of 1 and 2 with 3 and 4 included.

They went back and re-did A Perfect Storm. No reason to think they wouldn't do it for this as well. Didn't they admit there were issues with these?
