This is one of my favourite movies EVER. Geena Davis is just awesome here (love her), and features my favourite Samuel L. Jackson appearance.

It has great special effects, and it would look amazing on BD (I'm fairly sure a clip from it was played in the "This is DVD. This is what happens when you watch DVD." ads on VHS).

Anyone else love this and/or want it on Blu?

Great film.. I also enjoyed her playing a Pirate in Cutthroat Island...

Great movie, a "James Bond like" Geena Davis and a - of course! - great Samuel L. Jackson plus a great supporting cast.

This is one of the cult action movies. I love it myself. Too bad the first DVD release was the last but at least we didn't suffer the meaningless double-dipping that the DVD format seems to be inculcating.

There are scenes in there that will be mucho grainy because they had to bump up the contrast/brightness as well as scenes with VFX. So be forewarned.

I love both the score and the songs used. The sound mixing is fantastic.

I always thought about that when it comes to what movie should be on Blu and this was always in my list to be on blu, Great Movie..

I hope that this and another film written by Shane Black, The Last Boy Scout, come to Blu-ray soon. The DVDs are very poor in quality.

I have this on DTS laserdisc and this film has one of the most aggresive exceedingly LOUD soundmix - in DTS-HD MA sound this should A-MAzing!
