Lord Of The Rings BLU-RAY Trilogy on eBay...I smell a FAKE! - Blu-ray Forum

Hey all,
I just saw this listing on eBay for "Lord of the Rings Trilogy Blu-Ray boxset 6 disc - NEW" and just had to take a peek (here is the link for you to inspect and chime in http://cgi.ebay.com/Lord-of-the-Ring...QQcmdZViewItem ), and it appears to me this is a definite FAKE due to the following noted below.
From the looks of this box, particularly the BACK of the box near the bottom, where you can clearly note it states "DVD Video" in the bottom left and "Special Extended DVD Edition" on the bottom center.
I feel really sorry for the person who is currently "winning" this auction at $125 for what I'm sure is nothing more than a DVD set burned to some blank Blu-Rays and placed in a Blu-Ray case. As far as I know, this trilogy is not available ANYWHERE in the world yet

I just thought the "Blu-Ray.com" community should be made aware of such fraudulent listings and to be aware of their purchases on eBay, for the days of fake Blu-Rays are already upon us

, at least it appears that way to me.
What do you all think of this listing?

No I wanted to make people aware of fake postings of Blu-Rays on eBay mainly, not necessarily this Blu-Ray, although it is a highly desired one!

From the 12 billion posts here - I am sure anyone with 1/2 a brain is fully aware - LOTR is NOT out on BD. If they are not - then buying that without research is their punishment

Yes you can no longer see the actual current bidders eBay user id until the auction "ends". They did this, they claim, to prevent harrassing e-mails from other would be customers and the like
