Default Best way to buy Sony TVs

If I wanted to buy either Sony's KDL-32XBR6 or KDL-37XBR6, where's the best place/website to get one? Circuit City? Best Buy? Other local dealers in my area (Lexington, Ky.)? Or maybe Amazon.com or Crutchfield.com?
Here in Lex, we have Barney Miller's (a Sony dealer), and I think I would have good business there. I really believe that's the case because BM's carries Thiel loudspeakers, and Thiels are made in Lex!! I do talk to/visit Thiel periodically and they are very happy with BM's.
I don't have a Costco or Fry's in my area, and I won't be able to get one at Sears because they are not carrying the XBR6 models (and I work at Sears).
Lastly, I do love the idea of Best Buy having the service where they will pick up your old TV (mine's a monster -- a 150 lb. (NO KIDDING!!) 26" XBR tube TV that's 15 years old and the matching stand is an extra 50 lbs.) and recycle it's parts. I don't EVER wanna pick up that hulk of a TV ever again!! But I'm reading a few too many horror stories about buying a TV at BB's.

Comments?

Jodi

Sony rep told me that they fudge the models that go to costco (k well not really, they just use surplus panels in them instead of the ones designed specifically for the sony TVs and other such parts so they can wholesale them cheaper)... just puttin that out there

can they really do that??

Isnt that sort of illegal since it would indicate that the Costco is NOT selling the SAME tv at discount prices, since the RMs are different? If you know what I mean?
