anyone know what the best bluetooth is for the ps3? i was thinking bout getting the metal gear solid one but i heard the quality sucks. which one do most people here get? thanks in advance.

but it's so big and weird looking. i mean it's sweet for gaming, it's metal gear!

but for being outside? idk, i'd look like an air traffic controller

i am going to use it for my ps3 only. i have an iphone so i just use the earbuds/mic it came with, plus i ride so a bluetooth is not going to work under the helmet.

I think I may wait til the Socom Bundle comes out, I still have my USB one sitting around here somewhere. If I can't wait I may just pick up a cheapy one until then.

i stick with a 2.0 device. the msg4 headset is 2.0 and the logitech ps3 headset is 2.0, there are also a handfull of cell phone 2.0 devices.

I would suggest just looking for the model I suggested on eBay or Amazon, possibly Play.com or Playusa.com depending were you live.

I think I'm actually ordering two more of these headsets soon due to a friend needing two, it's annoying as a gamer to keep charging a single headset, so two is ideal as you can charge the other whilst you play and it'll be ready far before the other dies.

As for compatibility, I'm not 100% sure that all Blutooth headsets work with the PS3, I would just google/ebay for "Headset PS3" or "Blutooth PS3" and see what you come up with, very cheap in the right places.

I use the cheap one that came with my cell phone. works just fine and no extra money spent.

I've used both Jawbone headsets by Aliph. The newer one is a lot better and more comfortable. The audio quality is second only to the original Jawbone. The Jawbone eliminates background noise and you get crystal clear audio.

The only problem is that almost everyone is using crappy headsets and you pick up everything that is said.

I've pretty much given up using headsets online for the time being. Hopefully all headsets will start to come with background noise elimination .
