Anyone see Spiderwick Chronicles @ the Theater. Any good. I am a fan of this style of film. Did not get a chance to see it. Thinking about purchase. is it worth it. Thanks

Yeah I would say if this movie is your kinda thing then get it.
I saw it recently and have ordered on Blu!!

Is it a childhood fantasy film?

In the same genre as Golden Compass or Chronicles of Narnia? ((Not comparing the three, just asking if theyre in the same genre - before anyone gets any discussion ideas))

Because I've been wondering about this movie as well - I enjoy films like the aforementioned duo. Just need a little more reassurance.

The film is great!!! I mean it and i'm really glad it's on BD.

If you read the books, i'd recommend
If you haven't read the books yet, i'd still recommend you...

It certainly doesn't have the scope/scale of something like Narnia.

It's a worthy film for viewing with your family.

Its great I just watched it. However I would say little kids would be scared of it. Its got creepy monsters and all sorts.

Several months ago, I downloaded the preview from the PS Store. From what I saw in 1080p, this movie will look incredible on blu-ray.

My son didn't fidget once during the movie, and sat staring at the screen the entire time! No getting up, no asking when it was over, nothing! I think that right there is the best recomendation I can give! Kept my attention too, was very well done.

a bit scary. nothing like a kiddie movie at all.

My copy arrived this morning. Enjoying it right now. Its a great transfer although it has a kinda dusty/smokey look to it most of the time.

Great movie, well recommended.

Just got my copy delivered to my front door this evening.
I'm looking forward to watching it.
From what i've heard, it's well worth the buy on Blu-ray.
