Default laptop rewriter

I just wanted to ask how laptop rewriter drives going? I've been holding off buying a VAIO with a ROM drive cos I know I'm gonna be wanting to swap data between the two (my PC has a BD RE)

thanks

I could swear that I've seen the BD burner as an option for the Sony laptops. I didn't splurge for that when I get my AR series...kinda wish I did now - I just have the BD multi drive. Oh well...my desktop at home needs a BD drive too...maybe I'll just drop a burner into that one!

I have always been a die-hard Compaq fan. After the Compaq-HP merger, I was hardcore HP fan. But after I got this VAIO AR- series....I'm starting to really like Sony. If you are looking for a good BD laptop...I highly recommend these!

The AR Series aint no joke!
I have two of them!
AR190G and a AR730E/B

The 190 has a burner(the first laptop with a BD drive BTW) and this 730 has a BD ROM.
