This is prolly for quantum of solace which is releasing in Nov BUT WHY NOT TAKE IT OUT AT ONCE

There will always be a better version.
Enjoy what you have, upgrade if you want.

The Australian version was always the better version to start with as it was uncut and region ABC.
Now its even better!

I got it for free with my PS3 so iam happy but i love this movie so im confused whether i should double-dip

The one reason I would upgrade on this title would be if Sony re-released it with a 24bit audio track. I mean the 16 is pretty good but the 24 would blow our minds!

"Several months later"? I bought this is march of 2007. I am not upgrading regardless of the changes. They are just following this up for the mew movie.

I don't own the film yet, so I'm hoping the uncut version makes its way to the U.S. when the new movie is released.

I don't get it, why would anyone buy this? It looked good on my 720p, then I got a 1080p plasma with the whole 24p and it looked fantastic. Not to mention PCM sound, total reference disc. Quantam will be badass, but why a rerelease of such a fantastic movie done so well the first time. Maybe since I'm not a huge fan of "special features", I'm not at all fired up.

Yeah, except the details on this 2-disc set only say Region B.

So this is just an Australian release or what? Either way, I really prefer the original cover, that one just looks like a random screenshot with the logo pasted on it if that's really going to be it.

One, the cover art is just temporary, basically using the first teaser poster then cutting off the release date info and the putting it into a bluray case in photoshop. I think they might use this art for whatever special edition we might get, almost certainly this fall as promo for Quantum of Solace. The date given of October 22 seems right, knowing that the blu-rays of a number catalog Bond titles are arriving that week, although the North American date, along with the other Bonds will be the day before on October 21. Can't wait, I was about to snap and buy the current blu-ray (I actually might still, considering that next week, we have a new promo at work for $19.99 blu-rays on an endcap that currently has Casino Royale on it, which I'm hoping spills over to the new one that goes up at the end of the week.

I got mine in a BOGO so I really won't miss ou ton much. I doubt I'll double dip though...unless we get an unrated.

Well since Ive been lagging on grabbing this title. here's my chance to either pick up a superior edition or the original BD release for less $!! I think either way, Ima come out ahead on this one now.

What part of 'Artwork Subject To Change' didn't you understand? Here, in plain English: Temporary Artwork.

Anyway, I have the Dutch version which is also uncut. It cost a fraction of the silly prices I've seen the Australian disc going for.

It was announced in Germany as well, and thats placeholder artwork.
