The Ultimate Matrix Collection Blu-ray

The Ultimate Matrix Collection Blu-ray Review

Quote:
Warner Home Video has announced the long-delayed Blu-ray release of The Ultimate Matrix Collection for the 14th of October, priced at around $129.95. The set will arrive on seven discs, which will include a mixture of both Blu-ray and standard definition DVDs. Full specs have yet to be revealed, but you can almost guarantee that they will be identical to the previously released HD DVD version.

Sweet!
I've had a little stash of money put aside for the eventual Blu-ray release ever since it came out on HD DVD.

I would bet you could buy the movies individually... if not, than that is a marketing blunder. Not everyone want to drop $130 on 7 disc

I have yet to see a large box that looks good or fits on a shelf. I think Starwars ep 3-6 is one i kept. A few others but they are all a lot smaller than 7!!

The Ultimate Matrix Collection on HDDVD is listed at 119.95 on amazon before the 34% off

you may be thinking of the Complete Trilogy that's listed @ 99.99 before 57% of on HDDVD

Ultimate: http://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Matri...6931160&sr=8-9

Trilogy: http://www.amazon.com/Matrix-Trilogy...931160&sr=8-10

There's still some hope it'll be cheaper.

Yeah, we need a "Complete Collection" alternative to the "Ultimate Collection" like HD DVD had for a discounted price.

Ghostbusters and The Matrix are being released on the same weeks as their already announced Dutch counterparts.

I wonder if this trend will continue.

The Netherlands also has Snatch for November 6 and Gladiator for December 4 releases.
