Yah I wasn't too sure if it was HD DVD's slogan or Universal's. Kinda weird for Universal to put someone else slogan.

It's an easy fix. What should I have instead? What's blu-ray's slogan?

I'm thinking of "Experience the Ultimate in High Definition". I think that's the sony slogan.

or "Beyond High Definition"
How's that?

Give me some ideas.

lol. That is so funny!

Ever heard of plagiarism? That's pretty much what's going on here. I challenge any one of you so-called photoshop/creative experts to create a cover without using any original dvd/poster art. And if you can do it, I'll give you credit and stfu, otherwise, you're nothing but a bunch of hacks. Haven't seen much creativity in the last couple of pages.

the Slogan for Blu-ray is 'Blu-ray: No Slogan Needed"

this is my last attempt at a fake BD cover... Would love to see this and the sequel on blu-ray. Plus with the rumor of a Jeepers Creepers III hopefully that ends up being amazing and another future BD release. We can all dream tho, right?

I think it's common knowledge that everything is taken from posters and DVDs. I've never claimed to be a designer of these covers. I'm just letting people know how I manipulate the pics by turning a poster into a Blu-ray cover. Plus the good ones are not copies of the DVD art, but an alternative display that you would not see in stores. I think the real test is to see how accurate you can get, and more importantly, what people really like.

Isn't the swoosh on the top and bottom standard HD-forum design too?
Only being technical CC cause your covers are so realistically accurate! They wouldn't use it on Blu.

Well one more. I'm kind of hype for this movie.

Sorry I didn't do any catalogue titles. I'm just too stoked about these new movies that are coming out soon. Like the Dark Knight.

I'm not too sure about that man. See all the Paramount titles had a border design and they used it for both Blu-ray and HD DVD. So it's not like the format has a type of border, just the studio.

Get what I mean?

But chances are once Universal starts releasing titles on Blu, they will change the border or get rid of it all together. I think Paramount just started releasing titles without borders. e.i. "Zodiac"

I'm stoked about this one too. I'm actually watching the first one right now, I just paused it to check if "The Guyver" was still being a thorn in the side of everybody's fun. Good job on this, BEEEEAAAUUUUUTIFULLLLL

I just read it was a Universal exclusive design they used just for HD-Dud... So when they start making blu, Im sure it will go away... maybe thats why I felt it looks too HD-dud... just a observation on excellent work.

Yah you're most likely right. Even if Universal's design wasn't HD-Douche exclusive, they probably will change it once they go blu. It will be a symbol of the studio making changes. When making my mock-up of "Hellboy 2" and "The Incredible Hulk" I was looking at it as what if Universal was neutral like paramount (was). Then the design would be identical.
