So who's gonna play as Freddy Krueger? Robert Englund again? He's not getting any younger so time is very short. I'm still waiting for Freddy vs. Jason part 12

I can't wait for this. Robert Englund better be Freddy Krueger, if he isn't, I'm not going to see it in theaters.

i wouldnt want Robert Englund as Freddy. Hes too old and probably not as agile. Plus its a remake, if i wanted to see him i can just watch the old Nightmare on elm movies

Not really sure where agile and Freddy go together as far as Nightmare on Elm Street goes.
Englund IS Freddy, he is why Freddy has lasted to this day and continues to be a legend.
I have known for a while that he will not be Freddy, but I keep hoping that A)the remake never happens so we do not have to sit through a group of carefully ethnically mixed mtv laguna beach rejects screwing up what is one of the best horror films ever just so the studio can milk some product placements and sell a crappy emo nu-rock soundtrack. B) they get smart and realize that Englund is key.

One, Two Freddy's coming for you,
Three, Four, better lock your door,

Check out the Official UK page for Nightmare on Elm Street (http://www.facebook.com/dontfallasleep) to be in with the chance of seeing Freddie’s revival way before the rest of the country!

Enjoy!

I'm a horror movie fan so I'll watch it but I don't think it will be as good as the original. Won't see it in theaters. Just gonna wait for the bluray release.
