Try to justify it however you want, it's still 1800 bucks for an 11 inch TV.

There comes a point where coolness factor must give way to common sense.

I totally agree I am sure the picture will be amazing but who really cares. 11" maybe for a bathroom, this size might be ok? Have Sony give me a call when there's a 40-50" for about $4,000-$5,000.

Irrelevant. The (important) thing is that OLED HDTVS are going to be great for Blu, as when the manufacturing kinks are all worked out, these TVs will be **cheaper** than similar LCD HDTVs.

Better and cheaper HDTVs means that Blu-ray will get bigger, so this new technology is a great thing for Blu imho.

I'm really hoping it's at my Sam's club, just so I can SEE it. I haven't had a chance to see the technology in person.

Personally I'd never fork over that much money for an 11", hell I wouldn't do it for a 20". Can you imagine inviting your friends over to watch the Super Bowl on your 11" OLED you paid over 1500 bucks for.... what a waste.

it obviously wouldn't be your main television.........

It's a good technology since they can make much slimmer displays.... so I look forward to these showing up in Refridgerator doors/mirrors, etc... in the future.

I wouldn't buy it if I did have the money. It would have to be over 40 inches and FULL HD before I would consider it.

It's not an HDTV - thread title edited.
It needs 720 lines of vertical resolution before it's an HDTV - this has less than 600 lines.
