"yippie kay ay mother f'ker!"

I LOVE LLOYD

Glad to see Eric finally take a stand and call Ashley out on all her weird invasion of privacy crap. Can't wait to see how the end of this episode plays out in the last 2 episodes...and if Lloyd ends up picking up any more clients.

Ashley showed off a whole lot of crazy last night. Turtle should sick Vince on the girl with the crush.

I like that Jaime is willing show off all her love for her man.

Major gripes with the writers and creativity aside, I still enjoy watching the show, if only for Drama and Ari, who still entertain me even though it is the same old thing every episode.
Very well written and essentially how I feel about the show and where it's going. Last season was okay but this new season is borderline mediocre. They have great ideas and than essentially make jokes about it instead of concentrating on it. They concentrate on this weak filler character of Ashley instead of pursuing the whole stalker angle, at least a bit further. Ashley single handedly ruined this season for me. It should have been over after 3 episodes at the most.

Worst of all , Ari couldn't even save this season.

I see Lloyd getting used here. He's going to start out fine but then that guy will start limiting him big time. Eventually he'll go back to Ari.

Thank you Silversnake. I think last nite's episode furthers the point. A lot of ppl think Ashley is annoying, and what does her character amount to? Several episodes between here and Eric, and then she is gone (or is she??) because she is overly invasive. To me, that is very unoriginal. Also unoriginal is Jamie leaving the country to shoot a series. How many times have you seen the whole, "I got a great job...but it's _____(insert far off land here)." I think that it would have been much more interesting to explore an angle about major celebrities having unknown significant others. A lot of ppl find this to be interesting, because they wonder how this unknown person could have gotten a celebrity, which I think is a lot of ppl's dream.

Furthermore, Vince, who has always been the least interesting character, has been virtually ignored this season. How about making his role in Scorsece's film Oscar nominated? This would be a good idea because it would show that even when you are down, things can turn around, a la Mickey Rourke. I admit the Ari and Lloyd drama is semi-entertaining, but that too could be more creative. Also, Ari's arc for the past two seasons has been that he is a good guy at heart, but he just goes and yells at Lloyd and tells him he wants him to die??? Inconsistent, if you ask me.

As a side note, how in the world did the last season of Entourage, which was the weakest up until this season, get nominated for best comedy series over Californication? It absolutely baffles me, especially since that show is far and away better in virtually every way.
You summed my thoughts up perfectly! Season 2 of Entourage was greatness. I am just as baffled as you are over the Californication snub. David Duchovny was robbed of a nomination!

Yes very inconsistent on that. Ari is becoming a nicer person to Vince's entourage as time progresses. Becoming nice with E , Drama etc and the one person who has been loyal to him for so long , and he's treating him like Adam Davies? Doesn't make any sense what so ever. It's like they couldn't come up with anything else so they used that plotline.

At first it was funny , Ari asking him to pledge and the antics that were happening at the office but now I think it's just stupid ( last episode) and doesn't really fit with what they are trying to portray Ari as.

I really don't expect them to save the season with these last 2 episodes. I'm really pissed, that's now two shows that have had terrible seasons. Weeds and Entourage.

Hopefully Dexter doesn't let me down this week.

Just watched episodes 9 and 10 yesterday, anybody notice all the triangle references, it clicked for me when Turtle said "love-triangle" near the end to Vince in the car.

Jaime - Turtle - Sorority Girl

Ari - Drama - Lloyd

Assistant - Eric - Ashley

That whole episode felt like it had that theme running through it. Entourage is a show I enjoy watching because it's usually pretty lighthearted and I like the characters. This season has been nothing special, but still entertaining.

I thought it was a pretty good episode. Eric's HIV subplot didn't really add anything to the episode though, but I'm interested to see where Johnny's new "lifestyle" takes him, and what's going to become of Ari and Lloyd. I could care less about Vince leaving, or Turtle and Jamie "breaking up"...their stories are just not that interesting to me

Last nights episode wasn't all that thrilling. Drama having a melt down had a laugh, busting Eric's chops about the skank he banged had it's high points, and that airport scene really bit!

I'm still curious to see how exactly facebook gal will cure Turtle, and if he will take the bait.

Ari's march into Terrance's office and the "offer" he wrote on the notepad?

Pure gold.

Great episode last night.

Redemption episode. Reminded me of the earlier seasons. Ari was back in his element as a general hard-ass, Eric was stressing about little stuff, and Drama had another panic attack. If the final episode has a big impact, it may redeem the season.
