Invasion of the body snatchers 1978 remake - Blu-ray Forum

Hi, I'm just wondering does anybody know if there is a release date for the excellent 1978 body snatchers remake with Donald Sutherland and Leonard Nimoy? I own the original vanilla MGM which got ruined over time due to that milky and sticky look. I wanted to update it to this,

But I really really want to hold out for a blu ray upgrade to be honest. Anyone have any info at all?

Well since FOX would release this MGM film, that means you'd get a dts HD audio track, but you won't get one extra. Not even a trailer. For some odd reason the MGM titles don't contain extras and would cost you 39.99 retail!

I own the TWO disc DVD of this film and it is worth it. I wish they would release it but the longer they wait the better off we may be on getting extras.

Love the movie and would like to see some information on it as well, I'd probably double dip if they had extras that were intriguing.

These are becoming endangered and should be kept intact. They are part of film history.
