Default What are your thoughts on Dexter?

Personally, I think it is one of the greatest shows ever made.

It's the best show on Showtime.

Loved the first series, didn’t think they could maintain those standards for the second, but boy, they didn’t disappoint, top marks to Dexter.

Probably the best drama on TV right now since season 6 of 24 was a little weak. I rented season 1 from Netflix. I couldn't wait for season 2 to come out on DVD so I dropped Starz and got Showtime so I could watch it on On-Demand, before Season 3 came out.

Dexter, Californication, Brotherhood, and Weeds are all excellent shows. Showtime kicks arse!

It's the best show I have watched since Six Feet Under and Sopranos finished their runs. I didn't like the idea of CBS airing "clean" versions on network television during the writer's strike, but it helped get the show more exposure.

Season 3 starts this month on Showtime. My post was a little confusing, I edited it.

This is a great show! I purchased the first season on dvd, but will rent season 2 from Blockbuster.

Don't have Showtime on cable at home, so I can't keep current.

Fantastic show, one of the best series I have ever seen next to Deadwood, Rome & The Sopranos.

I wish there was word on Season Two for blu, I have been holding out on the DVD -but I am dying to see that second season - hurry up, Showtime!

As great as the show is the books are even better. The 1st season was based on the Book "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" by Jeff Lindsay. I'm not a big reader (I only read 5-7 books a year), but, I really recommend them. Read the 1st book in a week all 3 are very easy reads
