I've tried to find out, but I'm not having much luck. Does anyone know if the 10,000 BC Steelbook off amazon.de is regionfree like the UK release? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger and ordering some SteelBooks off amazon.de, and I want to get it if it is regionfree.

The problem is, it's a stupid movie.
OK, OK...I booked it from amazon.de last Friday for the sake of 'steelbook'.

But you can wait to save a few bucks, amazon.de prices its movies in a random way. 10000 BC was priced at only 16 euros last week (but just for one day!).

Note the German release available only thru amazon.de has gone down in price to less than 17 Euro (12 for U.S Customers) + 14 Euro shipping.

Yes it IS region free. and has a 90 minute history channel documentary included. Plus the artwork is phenomenal. It looks like an old oil painting with mock cracks.

when u played this movie did it go straight to the movie or did it go to the menu first. n also did subtitles in english worked. it didnt 4 me . fanx

So, I just found this title in-stock at an online retailer for about $15.. Know its a bad movie, but is it a rare steelbook? OOP? Should I pull the trigger at that price, or is available lots of places? Thanks

Any steel for that price tag, I'm buying whether I like the movie or not, but that's me.

It's not OOP (that I know of) and not very rare -- typically one of the cheapest ones out there. I paid $30 for mine, though, so $15 seems like a great deal to me if you're a steelbook collector. IMO.

It's not that rare, but for $15 I'd say go for it. I agree that it's a bad movie, but the odd thing is that both this one and the German edition have great covers and look really nice on the shelf...I have both and I think the movie is terrible
