I don't think you can buy them outright but several titles from Amazon.fr use different colors, including several with black. I know both The Box and Largo Winch from Amazon.fr are in black cases. The same French distributor also uses red cases, I just don't remember what movie(s) is/are in red.

The Ultimate Maxtrix box set comes with 5 slim cases. 4 are the traditional blu color, but the 5th case is "piano case" black. The same shiney black we see on the TV's and electronics we buy these days.

I'm actually very impressed with the beauty and see a future for piano case black cases. Though, like anything else which is shiney, they will be very prone to finger prints, smudges, scratches, etc.

I would love to have my blu cases, with the blu logo, in different colors. I hope they will be available soon. And none of those eco-friendly ones either.

I got an Orange BR case with Hallonween II.

Not worth it if you have to buy the crap French versions of films tho as the english version has french subtitles that you cannot get rid of.

It would be nice to see more different colored cases, I believe I saw a Troll 2 Blu-Ray with a green case at Wal-Mart.

I think it would be really cool to have each genre of movies in their own specific colored cases.

Example:

Comedy = Blue
Horror = Red
Action = Black
etc.
etc.

I would love to do this, but changing over a majority of 360+ movies is expensive.

I believe the standard is set even though I like more others color:

Blue - Blu-ray
Red - HDDVD
Black - DVD
