Hulk Recall in Canada - Blu-ray Forum

Hey folks - I just called my local Blockbuster to set aside a Hulk Bluray for me and I've been told that:

"Hulk BluRay has been pushed back until Friday [the 24th presumably] because they messed up the shipment. They shipped the OLD Hulk in the NEW case, so they've all been recalled in Canada."

Just thought I'd let my fellow Canadians know if they didn't already.

Thanks, already mentioned in several forums. Futureshop, BestBuy and other retailers have stated a street date of Oct.24/08 as well.

At least he set aside Fable 2 for me.

Well it does say that it has an alternate beginning, I guess that beginning starts with Eric Bana

This is not a quality check issue, since the discs are working properly.

It may not be a quality control issue with the disc/production - but shipping still has quality controls in place (or apparently needs to). Ensuring that the proper disc - or all discs - is in a case is just as much a QC issue as production.

Also simpler to remedy.

Just a heads up guys... but for today only Best Buy Canada is offering a price online of 19.99 for the blu-ray version because of this snafu.

Indeed they are! I ordered a copy earlier today and I suggest other Canadians do the same.

Isnt putting the right movie in the right case a quality control issue?

Yes, it is. Quality control covers many aspects of the editing, manufacturing, and distribution process (just to name a few).
