Default Anyone having trouble playing the Bond DVD's?

I didn't see a thread on this, but was wondering if any of you have had trouble playing the bond movies. I read many user reviews on Amazon saying that the discs wouldn't play on several players includiing some from Panasonic. I have a BD30, and would like to get them eventually if they will play in my machine.

I've never had a problem playing any movies on the BD30 thus far.

So you 'have' , or 'had' a Panny BD30? If you do still have the BD30 it should be ok...I watched with love from Russia with no probs...? Who knows what firmware those people are on & what not, you know what I mean
Pioneer 9G Kuro's 5020 with Elite board swap, KRP500m, Elite 111, Elite 151. Onkyo 706, Polk TSi 5.1 all the way around & 10" sub. Pioneer BD player & Panasonic BD player along with three PS3's, all original 60gig units. 2x Harmony 1100 & 1 Harmony 1000 touch screen remotes. About 1,000 Blu-rays...

Thanks for the info. From the reviews I read, the PS3's were the main players listed that would play the discs.

Yes I still have the BD30. It's good to know they worked for you.

I have the Sony BDP-S300 and had some issues with "From Russia With Love". First time through the disk worked fine, took about the normal loading time. Went to watch the special features and that is when I ran into some problems. The disk seems to get kind of stuck loading and then when you finally get to the main menu and hit play it will get stuck, black screen. I was able to eject the disk, power down the player, unplug the player, let it sit for a minute or two, then load the disk up and everything worked fine. At least for the S300 you can get the disk to work but have to jump through some hoops in order to do so.

In my opinion this falls squarely on the shoulders of Fox, do not give me any excuses just make sure the product works, period!

Yeah the Sony BDP-S300 was one of the machines people were complaining about that wouldn't play the discs.

From what I recall reading in the thread at AVS, Panasonics (especially the BD30) are not having any problems with these discs. You should be OK.
