bonnie and clyde, Jfk are a few examples.
They are the releases that include a disc and a book
'coffee table' as some put it
Heres an old thread

my poltergeist i bought the other day is like that... they are nice lil packages. I know some of you all will prefer the normal cases. I prolly would prefer them myself, but i like some of the information they put within the lil booklet about the films.... not to bad overall.

Never mind. I thought digibooks were the other kinds of packages that companies like Warner used to package their SDDVD season sets. I thought those packages had different names.

I like the digibooks, but it's not really the packaging I'm after. Just make a great PQ and AQ transfer.
Movies that need to go Blu. The Ref, Open Range, Life As A House, Great Outdoors, True Lies, Joe Dirt, Maximum Overdrive, Pool Hall Junkies, Brain Candy.

T.V. shows that need to go Blu Man Vs. Wild, Survivor Man, Dirty Jobs, NHL Winter Classic 2009.

I didn't think they did, that's what has prevented me from purchasing them so far. I'm worried that I might accidentally crease the pages while placing it back in the collection (like I have done with books), or have the disc fall out.

In my experience I've found them to be fairly sturdy and have had no such problems.

These are actually very well constructed, and the disc has a normal plastic hub so it won't fall out.

I like em, even if they are slightly taller. At least they are putting some effort into making these releases special for fans.

I actually keep mine all grouped together to keep them uniform.
