whats your favorite movie genre that you seem to always lean towards

i only included a few basic choices and i know there are alot more

Rob Roy
Gladiator
Mongol
Bridge On The River Kwai
The Killing Fields
Apocalypse Now

Those are usually my first go-to movies.

sorry i didnt put in historical, tried to keep it simple. but alot of those choices could go under action, drama

From a pure enjoyment standpoint, it's hard to beat a great comedy..

but for overall enjoyment for me is a good hard, loud, bullets flying, explosions goin off action movie

I am going to have to say Drama. Because drama films usually provide the best story and acting to back it up.

2nd is action though.

Even keeping it simple, you may want to add at least a few more BASICS

I like Scifi and Action movies the best. If I had to pick one it would be Scifi, but when it is a Scifi Action film.....

Horror for me! I love a good drama and action film, but nothing beats the sheer fun of a good slasher film to me.

Plus horror films have a high rewatchability factor for me.
