I like Historical movies and anything epic in nature.

Braveheart
Rob Roy
Gladiator
Mongol
Bridge On The River Kwai
The Killing Fields
Apocalypse Now

Those are usually my first go-to movies.

I am going to have to say Drama. Because drama films usually provide the best story and acting to back it up.

2nd is action though.

Matty,

Even keeping it simple, you may want to add at least a few more BASICS

War
Westerns
Romance
Documentary
Animation

I voted drama
Because Calamari Marionette Ph.D sounded pompous, that's why.

I like Scifi and Action movies the best. If I had to pick one it would be Scifi, but when it is a Scifi Action film.....

Horror for me! I love a good drama and action film, but nothing beats the sheer fun of a good slasher film to me. Plus horror films have a high rewatchability factor for me.

Sci-fi and horror are my favorite. They're pretty equal to me but I voted sci-fi.
