running scared thoughts - Blu-ray Forum

just watched the german import of running scared, i had only seen it once a long time ago, in my memory it was pretty average(even though there was some good concepts or moments), but re watching it i think it s actually pretty cool, not the best but nice all the same, about the blu ray now, i won t talk about AQ since i m really not an expert at all, i ll just say t must not be horrible since i don t feel like i could really complaining about it, but for the PQ now i must say that t s very very grainy, even though i m almost sure it is intentional it s very strong in some scenes, anyways, apart of that it s really nice and a stylized look i think

what is the audio specs on the movie? Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS-HD...?

I was scyched but then I read on and you mean the running scared with paul walker not the eighties one with billy crystal, now that was a good movie, it was funny full of action and had a great cast. Billy and Greogory had good chemistry is was a good buddy cop film a year before lethal weapon.

Either Running Scared comes out and i'll buy both.

I love Gregory Hines giving that little kid the finger. YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSS............................

And the line up scene with Mr. Snake is classic. THats the one. You son of a *****.

I remember when my wife and I saw the trailer for this movie. It looked terrible. One boring afternoon we decided to go the the theater and for some reason we watched this movie. We both loved it. The trailers did this movie no justice at all.

Anyway, I just received the German import in the mail and just finished watching some select parts. I think it is grainy because it is a grainy film to begin with (I seem to recall that it was "grainy" in the theater). I think it is supposed to have that "gritty" feel to it. Whatever, it is definitely an upgrade from the SD-DVD, which I was glad to get rid of for this version. If it does indeed have potential for a better release in the States, I hope they will do it one day. For the time being, this version will do just fine.

I recommend this to anyone who likes the film. At $35 on eBay it was worth it to me.

now here we go with thread titles again and this one sucked me in hardddddddd! I also thought it was the hilarious and very entertaining (IMO)Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines Film. One of my fav comedy/action films of all time
