Default Do HD / Blu-Ray theaters exist?

I was curious to know if there exists movie theaters that utilize HD projection. While it may be expensive to adopt with the massive screen size projector and whatever else it entails, could it even be possible? Obviously IMAX has different technology than regular movie theaters but it's not HD to my knowledge, right? Or am I completely forgetting that it is.

I also have a digital theater in my area. I am in southern NH. The image quality is outstanding. The theater is called Cinemagic in Hooksett, NH. It also has an IMAX.

Oh ok, so then that is the term I need to look for in any of the theaters here, 'digital theater'. Haven't heard of one yet near me. Thanks!
