"Up to" 30% off...only THE HOST seems to hit that level of discount.

If you're going to get SPL and DRAGON TIGER GATE, you might also want to look at the latest film from the Wilson Yip/Donnie Yen team, FLASH POINT. I haven't seen it yet, but I have high expectations for it.

A warning about SEVEN SWORDS, it is seriously undermined by trying to cram an enormous amount of story into a couple of hours, and so the characters don't really get developed and the narrative takes a couple of turns that make no sense at all. If you want to see a really worthy adaptation of the novel, I would instead recommend the TV production that was shot parallel to the movie...of course, it's not HD.

While I've been cautious about my Blu-Ray purchases, as I'm not much into Hollywood films anymore and what titles I've bought I never even bothered to pick up on DVD, I'd probably go crazy with buying if Hong Kong could start releasing their early-'90s action films and fantasies. So far, only A CHINESE ODYSSEY comes out of that period, though.

I thought 'Red Cliff' had the problem with the vid distrib. logo popping up i.e, visually distracting.

I think that watermark problem is more tolerable than the rumoured US cut.

The so called watermark problem is not a big deal. Watch the movie and subtitles, enjoy this great film.

Edit: I would think that missing half the movie would be way more distracting :P

It wasn't all that disctracting. It popped up in the top left hand corner outside the frame of the film in the black area every fifteen minutes for a few seconds at a time.
