I am willing to bet there are more then 8, Dances With Wolves was a big success when it first came out, it as a lot of big outdoors shot, they would look stunning in BD if transfert is done the right way.

I hope when this film finally comes to BD that it will feature both cuts via seamless branching.

While I find the extended version interesting for comparison's sake, I enjoy the theatrical version much more as the extended is too drawn out and needless.

Oh give me a break. The extended cut of Dances With Wolves is among some of the greatest achievements in cinema. AMAZING film.
