Shawshank Redemption Arrived today!!...More Warner shipping issues - Blu-ray Forum

I received Shawshank Redemption today 2 1/2 weeks early from Warner. Have yet to watch it..haven't seen any reviews so I'll leave some comments later. I also received the new HP 1-5 movie pack. I cancelled that 2 months or so ago by email and phone. It still arrived. Haven't been charged yet..but i'm sure I will (takes them like 3-4 weeks to even refund the money after u send it back). Make sure you really want something when you order from them...otherwise its hit or miss if you get it cancelled correctly.

I have heard tales of people receiving Warner pre-orders literally months in advance. They apparently ship directly from the manufacturing plant.

Yeah, the same thing happened with a lot of people with the HP pack back when it first came out. I cancelled mine months in adavnce, yet one still showed up on release day.

Some people kept them, some got info to send them back.

I got 1 i had cancelled and they never charged it to my CC. I would hold off on the return until the charges show up, you never know!

And yes warner has been shipping stuff very early. I got band of brothers 1 month early

Man, it's so hard resisting Shawshank, knowing it's so close (or I guess already here). I do NOT want that digibook... ARG!

Yep Cinram ships them, I believe they package and distribute all over the world

What kinds of issues did people have with WB back in the day? Were they not shipping the orders in time or what? I've been tempted to order from them a few times but I remember reading a bunch of people complaining about their store.

PQ 4-4.5/5, AQ 4/5. After numerous delays on this...I must say they did a good job with it. What was the original release date or date they had rumored? I know this has been delayed numerous times. My problem with returning it is I have to pay for shipping and it takes like 3-4 weeks for them to refund it after they have it. I got the bill from them...I saw the HP 1-5 was on the same order as when I ordered Shawshank. I was charged for Shawshank, but not the HP (shows up as cancelled on the bill from WB in my email). It remains to be seen as the charges won't show up till next week on my bank account.
