I saw the teaser trailer that had the dialogue "Space, the final frontier" but this trailer is WAY better. Thanks

Looks great so far. How is that kid already a better actor than Shatner?

not really a Trekkie, but I would only see it for Sylar.

Shatner was never a good actor. That is why this kid is already better. Shatner got better as he got older.
I will go see it. Sylar looks great as Spock. I wonder if he will take anyone's brains.

I don't know... it still looks like it could be a stinker for me.

I will admit that it looks like it could be a great action film, but it still isn't ringing as true 'Star Trek' to me.

Well, this ain't yer Daddy's Star Trek, that's for sure.

It looks fun, but methinks it might be a one-off, like Superman Returns. It might be tough to continue the franchise with such a massive re-imagining.
I'd be interested to hear the reaction from the die-hard old school fans.

it seems like some of the most effective trailers (i.e. get you the most excited about a movie) are the ones that don't reveal as much. i was excited about this when i saw the teaser, but after seeing this trailer ehhhhhh i'll still probably see it. but it looks like 80% action and 20% sex...not the way i remember star trek.
