Warner Home Video has announced that they will bring the Sergio Leone film Once Upon a Time in America to Blu-ray on January 11th. The film, which features starring roles by Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, James Woods, and Jennifer Connelly, will be presented in its uncut, 229-minute form. Currently rated at #87 on the IMDB.com Top 250, the film is widely considered one of the best gangster films of all time.

For the Blu-ray release, video will be presented in 1080p accompanied by a DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack. Extras include Historian Commentary and a Making-of Documentary.

if you have looked everywhere then i guess there's not many more places to look, eh?

jokes aside, nothing has been released yet regarding this. hopefully when it comes out it will all be on 1 disc and not split into 2 with an action scene in the middle.

Hopefully the whole movie can fit on one disc or at the very least have the first disc end at the intermission.

I would have thought it would have been a shoo-in.

Wow...one of my favorite movies and, in my opinion, Sergio Leone's best and certainly one of the greatest gangster movies ever made!! Thank you, WB!!
