Saturday Night Fever? - Blu-ray Forum

God I wish we would get a release date on this! This was annouced last year then they never released it once they remastered it.One of the most important films of the 70's for sure. This film is to my generation what Rebel Without a Cause was to my parents generation.

This was announced back when Paramount was still putting out blu-ray's before they went HD exclusive. I'd like this one too.

I'm waiting on this as well, I was about seven years ols in NYC when it came out and it was a force of nature. As an adult I appreciated even more since we live in such a sensitive time. And when I have seen it its been on substandard definition like on VH1. I hope the give it a good transfer. I want to do that"you should be dancing" number in a club or party, lmao!!!

I hope this gets 7.1...we can only hope. However, it is a Paramount release so it will prolly only be trueHD.

This was a great movie indeed with an excellent soundtrack to boot. I hope that its sequel, Staying Alive gets a simultaneous release as well. Although I'm sure that's not gonna happen. I must be one of the few people who actually liked that one as well.
