Default Polk Tsi 100 vs. Monitor 30

I been looking at these instead of Monitor 30's (getting harder to find- in black) for my fronts. They look similar. I was wondering if anyone here is using them and what they think of them. Thanks.

Back during my speaker hearing days over the summer, I gave a listen to the TSi400 and TSi500 series, as well as the Monitor 50. They are of the same line, you could say, the Monitors are the predecessor to the TSi's. They are, in my opinion (read that again just in case you want to fight about this) - warm, "normal" sounding speakers (seriously, I just said in my opinion) - and if the bookie TSi100 sounds anything like its bigger brothers (which it...obviously should), it's a great purchase to consider. The Monitors are just the Polk's entry-level stalwarts...maybe consider the 30s as rears?
- I didn't say that. Lee Majors did.

I use the monitor 30s for my surrounds and my rear surrounds. The monitor 40s were just to big. I am pleased and I have had them for about 6 mos.

These are 56.00 right now. They are cherry but you can order from Polk Direct and have no worries. I have used them 2 times and they are awesome!! Fast shipping and comes with the regular warranty. Why pay retail? They have some Rti's that are 169 for the pair.

Lucked out today!

Went to Best Buy today and the sign below the TSi 100's said 49.98. They got the manager and I said I wanted them because of the price. He then said that the right price was under the left one. I told him "let me know what you want to do, I'll go look around."

The original clerk came over and said "He said he'll do it" Wow! Not a bad deal I got today.
