Default PSW 10 questions....

Another question, just got a Polk PSW 10 for free. Now on the back of the sub there's an auto on/off switch. Do I just leave it on Auto on? Sorry if this is a dumb question and thanks.

Yup. That way, when it detects a signal from the receiver, it will turn on. When not in use, it will power off, to save energy.

Yes, you can leave it in the Auto position and it will come on when the amp recieves an LFE signal from your reciever.

Ok, so here's what I've done. I read that I don't need a Y-splitter or L/R cable I can just use my basic sub Monster Cable I used on my old speaker, and can just basically plug it into either the L or R input at the back of the sub. That's cool. But back to my OP when I leave the switch on Auto On the green light is always on even when my Onkyo 606 is off. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Never mind just found my answer.

"The "auto" selection on the power switch lets the subwoofer turn itself off after 15 minutes of no signal and turn itself back an almost instantaneously, leaving you free to enjoy the music and not worry about turning things on and off."

I don't know what's up. So on the back there's 3 switch positions on the "Auto On/Off" switch. On, Auto and Off I imagine. Now the thing is if I put it either on the mid/neutral position or the On position it just remains on indefinitely. So what's up? If it helps I'm connecting to an Onkyo 606 w/ an 'RCA' sub Monster Cable. Thanks a lot for any help.
